Plans for Each Theme

  • Welcome to the Pack: This is our first official pack meeting of the new year. We will go over all of the new plans and meet our new and returning scouts.
  • Cubservation: Everything we do impacts the world around us. When a Scout lives the “A Scout is clean” point of the Scout Law, he is choosing to make sure the legacy he leaves is a positive one. He makes moral choices, and through an active lifestyle he keeps his body health.
  • Super Cub!: Superheroes are known for facing danger even when they are afraid. A Scout, like a superhero, has the courage to stand for what he thinks is right even if others laugh at him or threaten him. Come dressed like your favorite Super Hero for scout fun & games!
  • Cubs In Action: It is never too early in our lives to begin helping other people. Scouting has promoted being helpful to others since it began in 1907 in England. Our pack will put together care packages for local needy families.
  • Winter Wonderland: As winter comes, it brings with it a wonderland of snow, peace, beauty, and holidays. All of us come from different backgrounds and celebrate many traditions; each of our traditions gives us an identity and a sense of belonging. When we share those traditions and accept each other, we expand our circle so everyone feels like they belong. This will be our annual holiday celebration before Winter Break.
  • Scout Salute: A Scout is true to his family, friends, Scout leaders, school, and nation. Cub Scouts will show their loyalty during this meeting by participating in several activities together. We will go over Pinewood Derby plans.
  •  Blue & Gold Banquet: A Scout is a friend to all. He is a brother to other Scouts. He offers his friendship to people of all races and nations, and respects the beliefs and customs of others. This pack meeting, we will celebrate the birthday of Scouting!
  •  Cubstruction: Part of being thrifty is avoiding waste and using resources wisely. It is important to learn how to conserve and repurpose the many items we use every day to help our environment as well as use our resources in an innovative way for fun and adventure. We'll get down & crafty!
  •  Strike Up The Band: Music can make us feel many things. One of the best things it makes us feel is cheerful. As we “Strike Up the Band” this month, we will explore ways to make people happy using music.
  • Graduation: Our last meeting of the year and scout graduation/crossover!
